Confused..

A physical shoulder?
An imaginary shoulder?
The difference?
Both are never there..

Crying with tears of acidity,
Burns through everything,
Because tears see everything,
And so burst out for anyone to find..

Talking with passion,
With truth,
With heart,
They’re real..

Being selfish and wanting,
What you’ve lost,
What you can never have again,
That feeling of belonging..

Praying,
Wishing,
Hoping,
False pretence..

Searching for the right path,
So easy to get off this high way,
So easy to that take slip road,
So, why am I not doing that..

The Butterfly Effect.. Words mean nothing,
and everything.

They say,
actions speak louder than words.

So I ask you,
if you could change one thing from your past,
what would it be?

I would want to have said,
"no, I don't love you",
twice.

No, before that, said,
"sorry friend I'm busy, can't come out".

Except,
you can't change the past,
so no action is taken.

So then,
where do we stand?

On our words,

Long Lost Kinfe.. My long lost knife,
Oh how I’ve missed you like a past wife,
You’ve been my best friend my whole life,
Suspicion was abundantly rife.

I loved the sheen upon your blade,
It was something so perfectly made,
The moonlight makes it hard to mislay,
Although, I beg you please, do not fade.

You were oh so but sharp,
And as elegant as a harp,
I sat with you atop the cliffs that scarp,
Watching below, the fast paced carp.

As I’ve said, you’ve been my best friend,
My love for you was greater than my ex girlfriend,
Your broken spine is something I wish I could amend,

Broken.. Broken wings,
Make it impossible to fly.

Broken dreams,
Make it impossible to die.

Broken promises,
Make it impossible to trust.

A broken heart,

When I.. When I see her,
My eyes open wider.
Not, because I’m surprised to see her.

When I talk to her,
My voice begins to fade.
Not, because I want to hear her voice.

When I hug her,
My body begins to feel tingly.
Not, because I feel comfortable with her.

When I’m with her,
My heart beats that much faster.
