So I was trying to make myself a background for my YouTube channel but it was hard to find a decent YouTube 2.0 layout/template to get the ball rolling.

In the end I made this template myself and hopefully others can make use of it =]

Let me know if there's something wrong so I can correct it.

Hit download to get the .psd file and begin editing! =]

EDIT: The change I made was to basically add grid lines. It's explained on the image and in the .psd file =]

Cool. I used it to make my background on my Youtube page. It turns out a little bit wide for my screen so I zoomed out on it to see it.

I made it that wide since there's a mixture of screen sizes out there. This being the 'average' sort of size, in one way. So you can play around with the canvas size I believe =]
